Miwana AB is a biomedical technology manufacturing company that
was established in 1987. The company develops, manufactures and
markets own-brand nasal and eye products for the European market.
The products are based on natural ingredients and are intended
for self-care. The manufacturing of these products takes place
according to the Medical Devices Directive (MDD). The company
can also provide aseptic/sterile filling of ampoules and single-dose
pipettes on a subcontract basis.
Miwana's core activity is the development of products that improve
the nasal function of children and adults, in collaboration with
Swedish ear, nose and throat surgeons and other specialists.
Miwana's head office and production plant are located at the Business
Park in Gällivare, north of the Arctic Circle. This healthy

Contract manufacturing
The company is authorised by the Swedish Medical Products Agency
to manufacture certain medicinal products for external use.
